Ferries Spain – Ferries to the Balearics

If you are heading down south to Spain – you might want to check out our new site “Ferries Spain“.  It gives you the chance to plan your independent Spanish holiday and book your Spanish ferries online.

Ferries to the Balearics

Situated in the Mediterranean – just off the east coast of mainland Spain – the islands are fairly easy to get to. From Barcelona you can get a ferry to the Balearic Islands: Ibiza, Mallorca & Menorca.  To get to the small island of Formentera you have to sail to Ibiza first and catch a ferry from there or sail from Denia in the Alicante area.

The ferries to the Balearics are made up of more than 30 ferry routes with over 200 weekly sailings.  Still it is very good advice to book in advance – especially during July and August which are the high season, not only for tourists, but also for Spanish holiday makers.

The Balearic Islands have been – and still are the favorite holiday spot for both package tourists and the rich and famous.

On the new website “Ferries Spain” you can book ferries to the following destinations:

Algeria from Spain

Balearic Islands (Formentera, Ibiza, Mallorca & Menorca)

Canary Islands (Gran Canary, Lanzarote & Tenerife)

Italy from Spain

Morocco from Spain

United Kingdom from Spain

We wish you smooth sailing!
