2010 – Summer Holiday Spots
Well, sorry guys – if you have barely digested your delicious Christmas meal before we spring summer holiday spots on you, but the truth is that most people book their summer holidays in January.
In other words if you want to have the greatest selection to choose from…you need to be on the ball in January – especially if you want something out of the ordinary. So let’s give you a few suggestions…just a little appetizer!
Bulgaria is a great place for an action packed family holiday. Imaginary Travel has 4 8-day family holidays departing from Sofia this summer with overnight expedition, kayaking & horse riding. The activities will, hopefully, enable you to find the key to the hotel on the third night for a well-earned rest! During the fun, you will also learn how to set up camp, make a fire and prepare food.
If you are looking for “The Great Family Adventure” why not head off to Africa with your teen and do 2 weeks of “Kruger & Beyond” in South Africa and Swaziland?
The itinerary includes a visit and stay in a traditional Zulu village to learn about the lives of the local people; game drives in the Kruger National Park; kayaking and snorkelling in a dense mangrove in the Kosi Bay Nature Reserve; and hiking in Blyde River Canyon.
If you have Europe and romance in mind – Italy has to be one of the most romantic destinations anywhere. The sheer dedication to the enjoyment of life of the Italians, the sublime arts and culture in the galleries of Florence or the unmatchable elegance of Venice make Italy a treat for the senses. Few countries have such a wealth of history, with Roman ruins or Renaissance architecture acting as a backdrop to the bustle of modern life. The food of Italy is justly famous, and the natural warmth of the Italians means you’ll always feel welcome. View all Italy Trips…
